Cancer Prevention: Vitamin B17 or Laetrile
  • Vitamin B17 is harmless to healthy tissue. Each molecule of B17 contains one unit of cyanide, one unit of benzaldehyde and
    two of glucose. For the cyanide to become dangerous it must first be unlocked by an enzyme called beta-glucosidase. This
    enzyme is in present all over the body in minute amounts, but in huge quantities (up to 100x higher) in cancerous tumor
    cells. This the cyanide is released only at the cancer site with drastic results. This is because the cyanide and benzaldehyde
    are released together--which together, is 100x more poisonous than either alone.

  • But what about the danger to other healthy cells? Another enzyme, rhodanese, always present in larger quantities than
    beta-glucosidase in healthy cells is easily able to break down the cyanide and benzaldehyde into beneficial products. Cancer
    cells presumably lack rhodanese.

  • Perhaps it is not an effective treatment of widespread existing cancerous cells. But it seems very plausible that it can prevent
    it. The onset of cancer may simply be the result of a B17 deficiency. And with all the cancer-causing agents within our
    environment, it is no wonder so many die (and profit) from it.

Tribes Who Eat Foods High in B17
  • This vitamin is contained in the main food sources in cultures such as the Navajo Indians, the Hunzes, the Abkesians and the
    Eskimos. There has never been a reported case of cancer in the people of these cultures that eat their native diet.

The FDA and B17
  • Without propagating any conspiracy theories, the FDA has banned the sale of B17 as a supplement. It has even gone so far
    as to ban growing bitter almond trees (high source of B17) in America.

Sources of B17
  • The pioneer of B17 research, Krebs, has said that, if you eat 3-5 apricot kernels a day it is impossible to get cancer. I
    recommend you buy them from this website for several reasons: they come from the Hunza region in Asia; and, they have
    already been soaked and dried (all seeds should be soaked and dried before eaten to neutralize their enzyme-inhibitors.
    Make sure you also take a zinc supplement as this mineral is used to transport B17.

Vitamin C and Zinc
  • 50 mg of zinc should be taken daily. Zinc helps transport B17 throughout the body. High levels of Vitamin C (5g - 15g) should
    also be taken as there is strong evidence it also prevents cancer.

I have eaten upwards of 25 kernels a day for several months. According to the FDA I should be dead from cyanide poisoning or at
least exhibit definite symptoms of such poisoning. The only thing I feel is
better.
